‘Sue’s World’ travels the world of music each Monday afternoon from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.

Presenter Sue Hutcheson says that ‘there’s so much out there in this world that just doesn’t always get heard, because it’s either “weird’’ or because the lyrics aren’t in English’.

The music in Sue’s World swirls from the Jit Jive African Soukos, Kwassa beats in African townships to the sublime Malian Griot music, to Cape Verdin Mornas and Batu.

Sue explores the music of Europe: Portuguese Fados, Spanish Flamenco and the huge variety of Gypsy/Roma styles that are making a huge comeback in World Music circles

Sue will even take you over to the Zydeco and Blues of North America and down to South America for the Rhumba, Cuban Son, Samba, Tango and Reggae..... The list of musical destinations and styles goes on and on.
